Bumpy fairmont

I OWN a 2002 BA Ford Fairmont six-cylinder auto sedan that has done 69,000km and I have had a recurring problem with the right front wheel. It started at about 50,000km with a bumping sound coming from the tyre and a pulsating feel through the vehicle when applying the brakes normally-- what you'd expect with ABS activated. But the brake application is not aggressive and is very light. The Ford dealer has machined the disc and replaced the wheel and tyre with new under warranty, which fixed the problem, but each time, after about 3000km, both conditions returned.

IT IS unlikely the problem is related to the ABS. It is more likely to be the wear in the disc. It is not unusual to machine discs on Falcons every time they're serviced. It is a common complaint.
