Are Skodas unreliable?

I've heard the Skoda is very unreliable. The spare parts are not available and issues with the cars are not fixed properly. Is this true?

Skoda is part of VW, so there’s no reason to believe spare parts are any harder to get, or that problems are not properly addressed.
