Hyundai Tucson 2010: Why does the engine stop suddenly?
Answered by Graham Smith · 11 Jan 2019

It's likely to be the computer detecting something wrong and shutting the engine down. Does it come back to life if you turn the key off and then try to restart? If so it's most probably the computer.

Hyundai ix35 2013: Why is the radio dropping out?
Answered by Graham Smith · 11 Jan 2019

It's probably the Hyundai radio playing up. It could be the antenna. Have a radio specialist check it for you.

Holden Commodore 2004: Why won't it start properly?
Answered by Graham Smith · 11 Jan 2019

I suspect it's not actually firing when you first start it, and it's the computer shutting it down when you try again. It could be that when you take the key out and go through your locking and unlocking procedure you are in effect rebooting the computer. It could be a problem with the computer.

Holden Astra 2008: Faulty inhibitor switch for the gearbox
Answered by Graham Smith · 11 Jan 2019

A ticking noise is often a sign of a problem with the starter solenoid. If it were the neutral start/safety switch, you wouldn't hear anything because there would no power getting to the starter.

Holden Astra: Unhappy with dealer process
Answered by Graham Smith · 11 Jan 2019

I can understand your anger at receiving such a rude response, and your desire to register it with Holden. It's best done through direct contact with the company, and the Holden Customer Care (1800 46 465 336) is the best place to start. Being Christmas it might take a little longer for them to respond.

Ford Fairmont 1997: What oil should I use?
Answered by Graham Smith · 10 Jan 2019

It has to be an automatic transmission fluid. Your local auto parts and accessories shop would be able to offer you a choice of suitable fluids, but one you could use is Castrol Transmax TQ 95.

Holden Commodore 2008: Does it have Bluetooth?
Answered by Graham Smith · 10 Jan 2019

Yes, it does.

The petrol and hybrid second-generation Ford C Max models are all front wheel drive.

How long is a Ford C-Max?
Answered by Iain Kelly · 10 Jan 2019

The second-generation Ford C-Max is 4380mm long.

Kia Rio 2017: Jerky gear change
Answered by Graham Smith · 10 Jan 2019

It needs investigation, and because it is still under warranty I would urge you take it to a Kia dealer. It could be that the fluid needs to be changed, although it shouldn’t at such low kilometres, so perhaps it’s something to do with the driveline computer.
