This Nissan Cedric defies the odds to live on as a JDM icon

By Corey MitchellCorey Mitchell

The 1994 Nissan Cedric is a rare spot in Australia, but oozes VIP style.

This particular example has an interesting story:

It was a JDM import originally to Hong Kong but made its way to Australia around 2004. The second owner, called Dom, started modifying the car with the basics, wheels, suspension, tyres.

The original black paint already made it look the part for cruising Ginza streets. Unfortunately, in 2009 a fire was lit in Dom's apartment complex which resulted in the Cedric being set alight, even inside the car.

As a result, it was written off, but that allowed this immaculate restoration and modification to begin. It was purchased by a good friend of mine in 2016, when I had an opportunity to get up close with it.
