If you're opinionated on which vertical hemisphere the best kind of fast 'n shiny comes from - and think you have the metal to back it up - this event will be up your alley.

The JDM vs Euro meet is hosted by a local Canberra car club that goes by the name Spoolin’. It's an outstanding event for enthusiasts that welcomes all Japanese and European makes and models for some friendly rivalry.

Canberra’s winter is setting in, but that didn’t stop the locals from rugging up and bringing out their pride and joy. A wide range of cars made an appearance from a stanced M3 to a dead stock R32 GT-R that looks like it just rolled out of the Nissan Factory. What is not to love?

A stanced M3 just to mix things up.

A mint-condition R32 is a rare sight indeed.

This year the JDM community outweighed the Euros massively, but quantity doesn’t mean quality right? There were some immaculate Euros on display such as this beautiful Renault Megane RS.

It might be FWD, but the Megane has the numbers where it counts.

The event definitely shows what Canberra has to offer from around the world (except maybe the US, sorry muscle people!)

So what's your flavour, JDM or Euro? Tell us in the comments.
