Transmission issues with Holden Cruze

My 2010 Holden Cruze will not drive, it will only reverse. I was told that this is a common issue with the Cruze, and that I should contact Holden directly. What would you recommend? If fixing it myself is the best option, how much would it cost?

The best option would be to contact Holden (1800 033 349) and ask them to fix it. They will most likely come to the party for at least part of the cost, which would be much cheaper than if you were to have it fixed yourself.
