Does the 2013 Holden Cruze diesel have transmission problems?

I have a 2013 Holden Cruze diesel auto that has always had a harsh gear change up and down. I informed the dealer several times, but was told that is how they were. The car has 34,000 km on the clock and has been making a woop-woop sound when you first drive off in the
mornings. I have heard that Cruze gearboxes have a history of problems. Does the 2013 diesel auto version have issues that you know of?
