Adding insult to injury for Porsche, this Macan rip-off is an extra-hideous shade of pink.

Porsche can try and sue all it wants, but we know how that story goes; western copyright law is completely useless in China.

This time though, Chinese domestic manufacturer Zoyte is really rubbing it in.

This special edition model is called the SR9 Nunsheng and a focus on female buyers is the excuse for the offensive pink panelwork.

It will cost the equivalent of around AU$34,350. Great value. There is a good chance the build quality may not be up to the same standards as the Macan. That's just a hunch.

It is set to debut at the Shanghai auto show at the end of this month, which will no doubt be full of similar gems.

Chinese media claim that the 'Nunsheng' tag has a similar meaning to Goddess or woman of envy but also might be derogatory. Yeah.
