Have you ever stopped and thought about how hilariously weird sports commentary must sound out of context?

Well, Nick Murray Willis, a freelance animator based in Brighton (UK) has taken this thought one step further.

The award-winning animator creates cartoon compilations by using audio from a whole range of sources, including football (the soccer kind), Formula One, and famous movie quotes.

We've linked a few of them in here, but we highly recommend giving his YouTube channel a look, and if you like what you see you can even contribute to his Patreon, because, y'know, supporting artists you like is what all the cool kidz do. Like substituting S' for Z's.

What kind of commentary would you want to see animated? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Matt is a content producer at Carsguide and Oversteer and one half of the ‘Richard and Pritchard’ science duo (he also tells people he’s an actor). A graduate of the University of Wollongong, Matt studied creative writing and advertising. At least he would have, if he didn't spend most of his time getting distracted by trashy TV. Luckily, he’s been able to find a use for this (previously useless) knowledge, compensating for his admittedly limited automotive knowledge by focusing on weird TV shows, car paint jewellery and ghost cars.
