Toyota Prado cracked dash

A crack has started to appear in the dashboard of out 2004 Toyota Prado. Our vehicle has always been garaged and only done 67,000 km. Our dealer has inspected it and has given us a big fat 'NO' as to a warranty/recall replacement. I am wondering how many other people have contacted you with the same issue and if you can suggest any course of action that may help have this problem repaired. I can't begin to imagine what a cracked dashboard does for future resale value on a premium vehicle that originally cost in excess of $70,000.
