Mazda BT50: Drifting when it rains

My dad’s Mazda BT50 Freestyle Cab 4X2 becomes extremely dangerous when it rains due to the fact that it’s RWD and because of the light aluminium tray. This results in drifting around every corner and nearly having accidents and not being able to find grip on roads when most needed. I was wondering if it was possible that they sell steel trays for this model or what tyres are the best to stop this from occurring on asphalt/dirt/ gravel/mud.

You can buy a steel tray for it, but that alone is unlikely to stop the back end from stepping out in slippery conditions. The old way of stopping this sort of thing happening was to put some load in the tray, some bags of concrete or sand will help, but you also have to drive it to the conditions.
