The best rally car in the world is for sale right now

Lancia won six straight World Rally Championship Constructor titles (and four Driver’s titles) from the debut of the Delta Integrale in 1987, making it the greatest Group A rally car and what many regard as the greatest rally car of all time.

And now you can buy one of the seven Works-built Lancia Delta Integrale HF 16V rally cars!

The Race Cars Direct website has a listing for a genuine Lancia factory-built 1989-spec Group A Delta Integrale HF 16V for sale, in the same red-and-black livery which won on debut at the WRC round Rally Sanremo in 1989. This particular car is in stunning original condition as it apparently never turned a wheel in anger, being used solely for press photography duties.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the opportunity to own an as-new example of the most successful Group A rally car comes with a price tag of, “If you have to ask you probably can’t afford it”.

But it begs the question, what brand new Group A rally car do you dream of buying? Let us know in the comments.
