Asked by Steven Proud
I own a 2013 Nissan Navara with 40,000km on the clock that has been using oil between services since about 10,000km. It can be down anything from 10mm to 20mm below the full mark, but when I take it to Nissan for service they say it's normal, but to bring it back every 1000km to check. Very frustrating!

23 Oct 2015Ask them, why, if it's normal that they want you to take it back every 1000km. That's not normal. It's clearly using oil and they are clearly checking it to see how much it is using. Quiz them about the reasons for the check, and what they plan to do about fixing the car.
