Mitsubishi Pajero 2017: Fuel and radio problems

My 2017 Mitsubishi Pajero Exceed is running at 12 L/100 km, which seems very high, if only after 5000 km. The FM radio reception is also quite poor. In all my other vehicles it’s fine up to 130 km from the Adelaide CBD, but I don’t get ok reception after about 90km. What can I do to resolve this? Should I call Mitsubishi and complain?

The claimed average fuel consumption for the Pajero diesel is 9.7 L/100 km, so yours is a little high. I might come down with a little more running, but keep a record of it so you show your dealer at the next service. As for the poor radio reception you could complain to Mitsubishi; you could also go to a radio shop and have them advise you on what you could to improve it.
