    I assume the problem reported in your column of Mazda BT50s jumping out of fifth gear applies to manual gearboxes, but does it also apply to 6-speed auto 'boxes when in "sports" (manual) mode? I own a 2012 Mazda BT50 3.2-litre 6-speed auto and touch wood there have been no problems thus far!

    No, it only applies to the manual gearbox, which is a completely different 'box to the one in your car.
