I have had to replace two catalytic converters on my 2006 Ford Territory in just 56,000 km. The first was done at 35,000 km, the second at 56,000 km. It runs on LPG. Is this a common with this model, and what could cause this trouble?
It’s not common, so I would suggest you could have a problem with the LPG system. The LPG mixture could be off causing the converter to run hot or foul, or it could be backfiring and destroying the converter’s innards.
