BMW Group Australia has added new standard equipment to its X1 and X2 small SUVs, while rejigging pricing for a number of key variants.The X1 gains the latest 'Navigation System Plus' sat-nav interface along with a head-up display and wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity as standard.The former is displayed on an 8.8-inch touchscreen display that can be controlled via the console controller or via BMW's speech-recognition software.Pricing for the high-spec X1 sDrive20i is now set at $50,900 plus on-road costs, a $3700 price reduction, and the range-topping xDrive25i is $600 less expensive at $60,900.However, the entry-level X1 sDrive18i and the sDrive18d remain unchanged at $45,900 and $49,900 respectively.The slightly larger X2 SUV has also been treated to standard Apple CarPlay for the mid-life update, with pricing dropped by $3000 for the entry-spec sDrive18i from $49,900 to $46,900.Despite the price reduction, the sDrive18i has now adopted uprated 19-inch light alloy wheels finished in 'Orbit Grey'.The updated X1 and X2 have been in production since October, with local deliveries expected to start in January next year.2018 BMW X1 list pricing2018 BMW X2 list pricing
