Drinking and driving DO NOT go well together. But cars and whisky? That's seemingly another story entirely.

At least according to British sports car brand Aston Martin it is, as the company has teamed up with Bowmore whisky to develop a new special edition range - and just 25 bottles are being made.

This exercise in extravagance is labelled as Black Bowmore DB5 1964 - it's a Islay Single Malt, with a bottle that's part glass, part genuine Aston Martin DB5 piston.

Could be one for the Christmas list, right? Well, maybe not. The price per bottle is GBP£50,000 (AUD $91,150).
