Nissan Patrol 2002: Should I repair it after a bad crash?

Last July I was driving along in my 2002 Nissan Patrol when another car failed to give way when driving out of a side street and did a right turn across my path right in front of me. I hit the brakes but barely slowed down and slammed into the driver's door seriously injuring the driver. The steel chassis rails took a lot of the impact which helped reduce the damage to my Patrol but still caused damage to the bonnet, bumper, radiator, lights, grill, air-con, trans cooler, and bent front end of the chassis. My insurer does not want to fix it. I love it and don't want to let it go. The majority of this car is in good, solid condition and it would be a waste of a good car. Can you help in some way?

As much as you love it the reality is that it's an old car and not worth repairing. It's obviously done you proud, but it's time to move on to a newer car.
