Mitsubishi Challenger 2011: What do we need to do to get a blue slip?

Asked by Wendy

We bought a 2011 Mitsubishi Challenger Matrix in Qld and have just had it registered in NSW after affixing a hin no. My question is, now we need a blue slip and apparently we need to change the towing connector to a 12 pin and rewire our Challenger, add new model brake monitor etc. etc. up to possibly $2000. Does this sound correct? Where could I find details of these requirements?

It doesn’t sound correct, but I would talk to the Roads and Marine Services people in NSW. They are the ones who would have made those regulations, if indeed they do exist.
