What’s better to buy, a car with high mileage or one with low kilometres?
Generally it’s best to buy one with lower kilometres, but that’s not to say a car with a lot of kays is a poor buy. A car that doesn’t travel very far will tend to wear faster because it spends more time in the warm-up phase than a car with higher kays that is running for longer in the fully warmed-up state. On cars that do very low kays you often find the radiator hoses, fan belts, radiators tend to deteriorate faster than they do on cars that are doing high mileage. The best thing to do is to buy cars that have done average kilometres, that is ones that have done around 20,000 km per year.
