Delayed delivery of Jeep parts

My daughter bought a new Jeep Cherokee Sport in 2012 but two months ago was involved in a collision that caused damage to the bumper, grille, bonnet and nearside front guard. The car went a couple of days later to the insurance company's appointed repairer — where it remains, awaiting the delivery of parts from the US. It was to take six to eight weeks. Despite several follow up-phone calls, during which I feel I was being fobbed off, we're no closer to having the car repaired and returned.

Fiat Chrysler Australia boss Pat Dougherty replies: "I have asked my guys to expedite and we will call Mr Haman directly to advise. If there is a delay for any reason I will call (the US supplier) to get it resolved."
