D-Max ute and MU-X SUV range expands with three new 2WD variants.

Isuzu has added new 4x2 extended-cab pickup and dual-cab chassis versions of the entry-level D-Max ute, and a 2WD version of the top-spec MU-X SUV, the LS-T.

All three new models will arrive in showrooms this month, and introductory drive-away pricing will be available on two of the three for a limited time.

The D-Max 4x2 SX extended-cab pick-up and dual-cab high-ride cab-chassis, lists at $34,000 ($31,990 drive-away for now) and $36,100 respectively, with the same 130kW/380Nm 3.0-litre 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine, paired exclusively with a five-speed automatic transmission.

The D-Max SX ute also features 6 airbags, cruise control, stereo with USB, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity. It's rated at towing a maximum of 2500kg braked and rides on 16-inch steel wheels.

The new MU-X LS-T variant is listed at $46,700 ($43,990 drive-away for now), and also comes with the same 3.0-litre turbodiesel and five-speed auto.

The seven-seat MU-X LS-T also features a reversing camera, leather appointed seats, satnav, 10-inch DVD screen for the second and third row seats with 8-speaker sound, while braked towing capacity is 3000kg.

All three new models come with a five-year/130,000km warranty, five-year roadside assistance and three-year capped-price servicing.
