Buying recovered stolen vehicle

There shouldn't be any problems if it is just a recovered stolen car, and it still has the compliance plates. If it has been written off by the insurance company then that is a different situation and you could have problems. Check first to see if it's got its compliance plates; check your state's registration people to see if it's on their written-off vehicle register.
