The Jeep Renegade was launched locally with much fanfare in late 2015, but has since failed to light up the light SUV segment that it competes in against the likes of the Mazda CX-3.
The snub-nosed four-door is the first Jeep to ever be built outside of the United States – it’s based on a Fiat 500X chassis and is built in Italy – and is available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, with a choice of manual or automatic transmission depending on grade.
The line-up was set to be refreshed in the second half of 2017 to try and improve its sales figures. Current prices range from $19,470 for the Renegade Sport to $35,860 for the Renegade Trailhawk.
