The Swift GL Navigator is the entry-point to the Swift range, priced from $16,990 for the six-speed manual.
The GL Navigator can be optioned as a CVT automatic ($1000) and from there you can also add a very worthwhile safety pack ($1000).
The GL navigator is powered by a 1.2-litre ‘DualJet’ four-cylinder non-turbo engine producing 66kW/120Nm.

Standard fitment on the GL Navigator includes 16-inch alloy wheels, a leatherbound steering wheel, halogen headlamps, a reversing camera, and an 8.0-inch multimedia touchscreen with built-in navigation as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
The Safety Pack adds auto emergency braking (AEB), forward collision warning, lane keep assist (LKAS), lane departure warning (LDW) and active cruise control.
All Swift variants have a relatively small 242 litre luggage capacity with the seats up or a still-small 556 litres with them down.
The Swift GL Navigator has a claimed/combined fuel consumption of 4.8L/100km in the automatic or 4.6L/100km in the auto and accepts 91RON unleaded petrol.
