No, it isn’t real. Yes, it is amazing.

The RWD Redux concept from Ian Galvin seems to blend a Mitsubishi Delica (which was known as the Express or Starwagon in Australia) with too much power and some Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak wizardry.

According to the very imaginative man behind this retro muscle van, the vision includes a rear-mounted Judd 5.5-litre V10 engine with about 600kW of power. That makes for a phenomenal power to weight ratio, as it apparently sits at just 1240kg.

As you can see from the images, there’s a huge roll cage, mismatched 18-inch wheels, more lights than a Christmas tree, and a pair of tremendously simple straight pipes out the back.

And to make it even more amazing, the super talented illustrator decided to show us what it would look like if it were to hit the ‘Ring.

Imagine if the Redux concept became a reality and was taken to the ‘Ring? (image credit: Ian Galvin) Imagine if the Redux concept became a reality and was taken to the ‘Ring? (image credit: Ian Galvin)

Should someone make this a reality? Let us know in the comments.
