Dreams don't always come true and some people will go to extreme lengths to achieve their goals, like owning a Ferrari.

Blindsided by their vision, some people who go extraordinary lengths to transform just about anything into a red Italian sports car. Their plans in their head may’ve gained approval, but these results are nothing short of horrific.

Here are the top five worst Ferrari replicas.

5. Hyundai Tiburon (Ferrari 456/612)

Nothing says Italian like a Korean coupe which still looks more Hyundai than Ferrari on the outside.

Supposed to look like a 456 or a 612 (according to the owner), this Hyundai - I mean Ferrari - comes with all the budget prancing horse badges under the sun.

Best thing about it, this car can be yours for a handsome $14,000.

4. Toyota Celica Ferrino (Ferrari 308 GTB)

Credit where credit is due, to the untrained eye this car could easily fool someone into thinking it is a genuine Ferrari… from the outside.

On the inside, it's a different story. Everything besides the aftermarket steering wheel is pretty much the same and just as you would find in a TA22 Toyota Celica.

3. Pontiac Fiero (Ferrari Enzo)

The Fiero seems to be the go-to car that people flock to if they want to build a Ferrari replica, mostly because it's a mid-engined “sports car” (that's close enough to a Ferrari, right?).

Supposedly based on the Enzo, this Pontiac looks nothing of the sort, instead striking more resemblance to Frankenstein’s monster.

There's also a poorly made V12 engine cover to really sell that this is a fair dinkum 'Ferrari'.

2. Suzuki SC100GX De Luxe (Ferrari F40)

Here is a Suzuki Kei car that has been transformed into a mini Ferrari F40, well sort of.

The man behind this creation hasn't modified the grille of the car and has even left the Suzuki badges glued on. Presumably in order to get the car ready for a Friday night date.

1. Ferrari Testarossa (Mazda B-series)

Wow, is this the next Batmobile? (image credit: jalopnik) Wow, is this the next Batmobile? (image credit: jalopnik)

Now this isn't fooling anyone: a Ferrari Testarossa replica that has been based on a bloody Mazda pickup truck.

The body kit incorporates the iconic side vents and a spoiler while the car also features a removable roof.  Very reminiscent of the classic Testarossa.
