Mercedes-Benz E400 2014
Carsguide Craig Duff had this to say at the time: Good things may come in small packages but the E400 wagon shows the benefits of upsizing. There are few things it can't do, from moving house to hustling along the back roads. The technology embedded in the car is akin to a Kevlar-coated security blanket for keeping the occupants out of harm's way.You can read the full review here.
This is what Craig Duff liked most about this particular version of the Mercedes-Benz E 400: Performance, Practicality, Ride
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E 400 carries a braked towing capacity of up to 2100 Kg, but check to ensure this applies to the configuration you're considering.

Mercedes-Benz E400 2014 Q&As
Check out real-world situations relating to the Mercedes-Benz E 400 here, particularly what our experts have to say about them.
How much oil should a 2015 E400 use?
If you aren't doing it already keep a record of the oil you put in, recording the date, the odometer, and the amount of oil added. That would give you some evidence to present to the dealer and MB. As you haven't had any satisfaction from the dealer go directly to Mercedes-Benz (Ph: 1300 730 200). There shouldn't be any reason to be scared on driving the car, all cars use oil, it's the amount of oil used that it the question that needs to be answered in your case. In the meantime check the oil level weekly.Show more
Good mid-size drop-top?
I have yet to drive the E400 but, in general, mid-sized Mercedes drop-tops have lots of space and comfort but are not remotely sporty. If that’s what you crave, it should do the job.Show more
