Apart from all-wheel drive Subaru also has a boxer layout instead of following the more normal in-line engine layout.
The Imprezas boxer layout has a single overhead camshaft, 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine providing 92 kW and 184 Nm mated to a five speed manual gearbox.
