Just not finding the time anymore to enjoy this car so reluctantly offering my Trofeo for sale so a new owner can enjoy having what is an Italian mechanical trophy.
This is a car for Maserati or Italian car collectors and enthusiasts so please only serious buyers.
AF Corse built in Modena on contract Maserati as a small batch run. Used in European Trofeo Series 2005 and 2006 which was a support race to the FIA / Le Mans endurance series (short races at the various famous european race tracks). Maserati retained and maintained the cars with Drivers paying an annual subcription fee for the races. (100,000 Euro)
Car purchased from Maserati SPA via Master Maserati Drive School in New Jersey USA where the car was used for instructors to take students for demonstratoin laps. Ferrari Maserati Dealership in San Francisco USA facilitated the transaction and prepared the car for shipping (paperwork available to verify ownership).
Car built to FIA GT2 Homologation (Reference GT2-001) to allow the car into the FIA series support races at the time. Mainly a steel body car so is not competitive at GT2 level (paperwork available).
Imported to Australia under that FIA Homoligation for LCT exemption and import permit approval. All GST / Import Duty paid.
Past CAMS Logbook however not current (Log Book 20090364 Vehicle ID 34321 Class 2ASCC)
FIA GT2 specification seats, belts, aero, fuel cell, roll cage, and fire supression.
Great perfectly clean and tidy condition all round never dented or crashed. Fully maintained and serviced by Maserati factory trained mechanics.
Refreshed front Rotors (correct Brembo race rotors) and Pads...not used since.
Raced only a few times locally (Australian GT Production Class and iRace series) and mainly used for fun at club track days.
Comfortable 1:39 to 1:40 time at SMSP so can no doubt go faster with a bit of set-up tuning and in more skilled hands :)
M138T (Trofeo) Factory sealed Motor (never touched other than service items so lead seal still intact).
Only known issue with the car is that it eats spark plugs like toothpicks...which they all just seem to do because of the ECU race maps ....otherwise really easy to live with albeit ear bleed loud so you'll need hearing protection if you start it indoors.
Some recent overseas sales shown in pictures for reference.
