The $29,190 Subaru Impreza 2.0i-S sedan launched in December 2016 on an all-new platform for the small Japanese brand.
The top-tier model 2.0i S sits above the 2.0i at $22,600, the 2.0i-L at $24,690, and the 2.0i Premium at $26,490.
The Impreza 2.0i-S comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, active torque vectoring and steering-active LED headlights. In addition to EyeSight, it also gets the Vision Assist package which adds blind spot monitoring, lane change assistance and rear cross traffic alert.
Built in Japan, the Impreza uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder horizontally opposed (or boxer) engine that makes 115kW at 6000rpm and 196Nm at 4000rpm. It’s mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
