The 132TSI continues as the petrol version of the Octavia Scout 4x4 line-up, and lists at $38,990 or $42,290 drive away.

These starting prices are $5,700 more than the diesel Scout 110TDI that sits below it. The previous Scout 135TDI range-topping diesel has been discontinued.

The MY17 Scout 132TSI’s list price is just $400 more than the previous model, but adds more than $3000 worth of standard features. Key additions include AEB, active cruise control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, front parking sensors, bi-Xenon headlights with LED DRLs, LED taillights and rear seatbelt reminders.

The 132TSI engine is a 132kW/280Nm 1.8-litre turbo petrol four cylinder unit and comes standard with a six-speed dual-clutch auto transmission.
