Nissan Qashqai ST+ 2020 review: snapshot

Nissan Qashqai Ti model shown.
EXPERT RATING
7.5

The ST+ sits on the second rung of the Qashqai ladder and offers the best value with its list price of $31,990.

Along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which were added in the 2020 update, coming standard on the ST+ is a 7.0-inch screen with reversing camera, sat nav, front and rear parking sensors, six-speaker stereo, cruise control, cloth seats, push-button start, privacy glass, fog lights, power-folding heated wing mirrors, LED running lights, halogen headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Awarded the maximum five-star ANCAP rating in 2017, the 2020 update saw the ST+ score new features in the form of blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert.

All Qashqais have the same engine – it’s a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol which makes a reasonable 106kW of power and 200Nm of torque. A CVT auto sends drive to the front wheels.

The Qashqai scored the maximum five-star ANCAP rating when it was tested in 2017.
