The $79,900 Q50 Red Sport sits at the top of an eight-variant Q50 line up for Infiniti, slotting in above the 3.5h AWD hybrid Sport Premium at $74,900.

The Q50 Red Sport comes with leather trim, LED headlights and taillights and a full complement of active and passive safety equipment that includes radar cruise with city emergency braking.

The Japanese-built Q50 comes with a Nissan sourced 3.0-litre six-cylinder twin turbo petrol engine that makes 298kW and 475Nm. It's teamed with a seven-speed auto that drives the rear wheels.
