Audi Australia has confirmed a trio of different variants to be added to its 2026 line-up – a hatchback and two SUVs.

A new quattro (all-wheel drive) variant of the 2026 Audi A3, a Q7 S Line edition, and another Audi RS Q8 are all set for launch so that the brand can, in its own words, provide “the greatest choice possible for [its] customers”.

While the new A3 TSFI quattro and Q7 S Line trims are set to arrive soon, the RS Q8 is available to order now.

The A3 TFSI quattro S Line is a new all-wheel drive variant joining the front-well drive A3, as well as the sporty S3 and performance-focused RS3. It starts from $62,800 before on-roads for the hatchback variant, or $65,800 for the sedan body style.

The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine under its bonnet produces 150kW and 320Nm, powering all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Audi says the 0-100km/h sprint takes 6.3 seconds, which is 1.8 seconds faster than the 110kW front-drive A3.

Further to the drivetrain, the A3 TFSI quattro gains 18-inch alloy wheels, auto-dimming, heated and folding mirrors, colour ambient lighting, an electric front passenger seat, and a surround-view camera system.

The Q7 S Line, available in petrol or diesel versions, start from $112,415 or $124,130 respectively. The ‘Q7 TDI quattro 170kW’ (which was formerly the 45TDI) is now an S Line variant, as with the ‘Q7 TFSI quattro 185kW’.

With the S Line pack, they gain features like premium paint, unique trim, 21-inch alloy wheels and black exterior styling elements.

Finally, a new entry variant of the Audi RS Q8 comes in at $230,900, a significant saving over the more powerful RS Q8 Performance ($255,800).

The new RS Q8 is less powerful, with its twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 making 441kW and 800Nm, powering all four wheels for a 0-100km/h sprint of 3.8 seconds.

Compare this to the 471kW/850Nm RS Q8 Performance and its 3.6sec sprint, and saving $25K seems reasonable.

“These new inclusions across the A3, Q7 and RS Q8 model ranges are about providing the greatest choice possible for our customers,” said Esther Choi, Audi Australia Product Manager.

“The inclusion of a quattro variant to the A3 range perfectly bridges the gap between A3 and S3 models, while the enduring popularity of the Q7 will only be further enhanced with the inclusion of these S line models with exceptional value and refined styling.”

“The introduction of a second model to the RS Q8 ranks is recognition that even in this rarified air, our customers have very specific needs and requirements.”
