Rugged 4WD now $5000 cheaper! Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series, Land Rover Defender and Nissan Patrol rival, the 2025 Ineos Grenadier 4WD cops price drop to soothe previous sharp hikes since launch

This tough off-roader is now a little cheaper to buy, as Ineos slashes the price of its 4WD models by a few thousand dollars.

The 2025 Ineos Grenadier wagon and its Quartermaster dual-cab sibling were subject to some sharp pricing increases since its launch, but have had $5000 lopped from their prices to now start from $104,000 and $105K respectively.

The most affordable Grenadier Utility Wagon launched at $84,500, before climbing to a recent high of $109,000.

The welcome price reduction comes thanks to Ineos being granted a Tariff Concession Order (TCO) in the Australian market, meaning its import from the EU will no longer attract a hefty fee for Ineos.

“Ineos Automotive ANZ will be passing this saving on to prospective customers, allowing a notable price reduction for the new model year for Grenadier Station Wagon and Quartermaster pickup models,” a spokesperson told CarsGuide.

Along with a Luxury Car Tax (LCT) exemption, it means the Ineos off-roader is relatively free from extra charges to the business (and subsequently customer) due to its expensive nature and European origins.

During an interview with CarsGuide, Ineos’ Head of the APAC Region Justin Hocevar said customers who purchased their MY24 Ineos at the previous higher price will be given an accessory package to account for the pricing disparity, so as to not leave them effectively out of pocket.

Pricing has also been confirmed for the very limited Grenadier 1924 edition, of which only 1924 will be available worldwide. Here in Australia, it’ll cost $123,600 if any customers are able to secure one.
