Renault Koleos 2016 | new car sales price

Renault has announced local specification and pricing for its Koleos mid-sized SUV. The French take on the Nissan X-Trail will be sold in Life, Zen and Intens trim, aligning Australia with the global naming convention.

The Koleos is bigger than its predecessor. Powered by a 2.5-litre engine (126kW/226Nm) matched to an updated continuously variable transmission, it has front and all-wheel drive variants. Towing capacity is 2000kg.

Prices start at $29,990 for the front-drive Life with auto lights and wipers, fog lights, dual-zone aircon, tyre pressure monitor, seven-inch touchscreen and reversing camera and sensors.

For $33,990 the Zen adds satnav to the infotainment menu, powered driver’s seat, heated front pews, rear privacy glass, faux leather in place of cloth upholstery and ups the wheels to 18-inchers. All-wheel drive adds $3000.

The Intens starting price is $43,490 including standard AWD, LED headlamps, 8.7-inch touchscreen, power tailgate, sunroof, Bose 12-speaker audio and leather upholstery with heated and cooled front seats.

Active assistance software includes blind-spot and lane-departure warning, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking and parking assist.
