Nissan Navara N-TREK 2019 pricing and spec revealed: Apple CarPlay arrives in toughest Navara yet

The Nissan Navara N-TREK is expected to take its stying clues from the Trek 1 released in Europe

The special edition Nissan Navara N-TREK will get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, as more details of the toughest Navara to date emerge.

The N-TREK will sit above the existing Navara range, and will arrive wearing a $56,450 (manual) or $58,950 (auto) price tag, according to data uploaded to car research site Redbook.

Under the bonnet will live the brand's twin-turbo, 2.3-litre diesel engine, good for 140kW and 450Nm, and which will pair with a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic gearbox.

But perhaps the most noticeable change lives inside the cabin, with the inclusion of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the first time ever.

Outside, expect 18-inch alloys, LED headlights, roof rails and a chrome grille, while inside you'll find partial leather seats, standard navigation and dual-zone climate control.

While Redbook is light-on for styling details, dealer websites suggest the N-TREK will arrive with a black-on-black styling treatment, with black alloys, black sports bar, darkened protective cladding on the wheel arches, black side steps and a sliding cover for the tray.

More details of the N-TREK are expected next week, so watch this space.
