Nissan IMq concept first look: tough-looking crossover set for Geneva

Nissan has teased its IMq Concept ahead of the car's Geneva reveal, releasing a teaser image of its new crossover that looks part-Batmobile and part-abstract artwork.

We know little about the IMq for now, other than it apparently "embodies the future of Nissan Intelligent Mobility", and that it will be revealed in full on the brand's Geneva Show stand.

That said, it does look an awful lot like a high-riding version of the IMs EV sedan concept the brand revealed in Detroit, so we can likely make some educated guesses.

That car, with its two+two layout and its rear-hinged rear doors, was powered by dual electric motors and a 115 kWh battery that produced 360kW and 800Nm, and was theoretically capable of travelling 600km on a single charge.

Will the IMq replicate those numbers? Watch this space.

What do you make of the IMQ's looks? Tell us in the comments below.
