Mini JCW option package adds the looks but doesn't cost the big bucks.

Want to own a John Cooper Works (JCW) Mini, but can't really afford the $50,000-plus asking prices?

Or perhaps you aren't interested in being a track-day charger but want a Mini that looks hot?

If you answered yes to either of the above questions, the Australian Mini importer is bringing in John Cooper Works Option Packages that can be installed in all models in the Mini Cooper S range.

Available to order, the John Cooper Works Option Packages can be installed on any Cooper S model.

The Packages include JCW Chili Red paintwork, previously a shade only offered on the Works car; then there is the JCW aerodynamics kit and sports suspension. There's a wide range of JCW alloy wheels to choose from.

Available to order, the John Cooper Works Option Packages can be installed on any Cooper S model: the three- and five-door hatches, Mini Convertible and Mini Clubman.

John Cooper Works Option Package, has a manufacturers' recommended list price (MRLP) of $2,750 on the hatches and convertible. It comprises an aerodynamic kit with that includes revised front and rear bumpers, colour-coded side sills and rear spoiler. There are also 17-inch alloy wheels with standard tyres (18-inch alloy wheels with run-flat tyres available for $900 MRLP). Dynamic Damper Control, or Sports suspension are no-cost options.

Inside there's an Anthracite headliner, sports leather steering wheel, sports gearshift lever, stainless steel sports pedals and door sill finishes.

Mini Clubman Cooper S Option Package has a $5000 MRLP. As well as the items outlined above it also receives LED headlights and leather seats and 19-inch JCW alloy wheels in two-tone with run-flat tyres.
