Skoda is currently celebrating its 130th anniversary and to commemorate the milestone the brand is launching a special-edition model in Australia.

The Skoda Karoq 130 Years Edition is set to arrive in September 2025. Orders are open at dealers now.

Pricing for this special-edition model is $48,990 before on-roads. This is $10,500 more expensive than the entry-level Select, which it’s based on.

The 130 Years Edition picks up a range of features that are typically reserved for the higher-spec Sportline variants with the optional Signature package.

It doesn’t have the Sportline body kit however, allowing buyers to have a highly specified Karoq without the sporty looks. There are also chrome exterior highlights instead of gloss black.

The Karoq 130 Years Edition gets 19-inch silver Sagittarius alloy wheels, privacy glass, Matrix LED headlights with dynamic cornering lights, handsfree power tailgate, power-folding side mirrors with memory, keyless entry, as well as a ‘130 Years’ badge on the tailgate.

Other standard equipment includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 9.2-inch touchscreen multimedia system, satellite navigation, DAB+ digital radio, wireless phone charger, 10-speaker Canton sound system, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, heated steering wheel, leather-appointed upholstery, powered front seats, as well as heated front and rear seats.

This special-edition Karoq is offered in four exterior paint colours – Moon White, Graphite Grey, Race Blue and Black Magic.

On the safety front, there are seven airbags, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, lane centring, and adaptive cruise control.

This Skoda Karoq 130 Years Edition is the first special-edition model the company plans to introduce to commemorate its 130-year anniversary.

It’s also set to introduce the Elroq 130 Years Edition locally. It’ll also carry a high level of specification and unique looks.
