China’s Leapmotor has detailed more on the forthcoming A10 small electric SUV ahead of its imminent launch in the domestic market.
Imagery of the Leapmotor A10’s interior has been published on social media, showing it has a 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen multimedia system.
There’s also a dual cupholder set-up, wireless charger and interior ambient lighting. It’s a similar look to the current B10.
As previously reported, the A10 measures in at 4270mm long, 1810mm wide and 1635mm tall with a 2605mm wheelbase. This makes it incrementally smaller than a BYD Atto 2 and more on par with the Atto 1 despite it being a crossover SUV.
Power comes from a 90kW electric motor and is fed by a choice of two battery packs – 39.8kWh and 53kWh. These allow for driving ranges of 403km and 505km, respectively.
Leapmotor has previously disclosed that the A10 will be called the B03X in export markets and it’s currently being considered for an Australian launch.
The Chinese carmaker has been in Australia since 2024 and originally launched with the mid-size C10 SUV. It also recently launched the B10 small SUV.
Beyond this, Leapmotor has confirmed the B05 electric hatchback is set to launch in Australia in the second half of 2026.
Leapmotor does offer a range of other vehicles overseas, but none are confirmed for an Australian launch yet.
Speaking with CarsGuide earlier this month, Stellantis Australia Senior Product Manager Rick Crichton said the Toyota LandCruiser and Nissan Patrol-sized D19 luxury flagship SUV is also on the radar.
“It's something that we're always looking at. Nothing we can confirm today, but certainly the product portfolio in China is continuing to expand and it certainly gives us a lot of options to pick [from],” said Crichton.
