Honda Australia confirms new CR-V, HR-V, Civic, Odyssey and Accord fixed national driveaway pricing for incoming agency business model

From July 1, the CR-V will be repriced alongside the rest of Honda Australia’s model line-up.

Honda Australia has confirmed the key details of its incoming agency business model, including the new fixed national driveaway pricing of the Civic, HR-V, Accord, CR-V and Odyssey.

Effective from July 1, all new vehicles sold via Honda Australia’s network will be done so at the same variant-specific price (including metallic or pearlescent paintwork), which will take haggling out of the equation for buyers.

The Civic small hatchback ($31,000 to $39,600), HR-V small SUV ($31,300 to $41,000), Accord mid-size sedan ($57,400 to $60,400), CR-V mid-size SUV ($35,300 to $53,200) and Odyssey people mover ($48,700 to $56,000) are all affected (see full pricing tables below).

While Honda Australia’s model line-up will continue to come with a five-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty, it will also get five years of ‘premium’ roadside assistance from July 1, having previously been a cost option.

Better yet, all of Honda Australia’s new vehicles will get capped-price servicing for their first five service intervals at an authorised service centre. In fact, these visits will only cost owners just $125 each (including adaptive items), no matter the model.

Between the roadside assistance and capped-price servicing upgrades, Honda Australia claims “more than $2,000 of additional value will be delivered to the customer under the new business model”.

Honda Australia director Stephen Collins said: “The new Honda way is focused not just on the purchase experience, but also the ownership experience.

“We want every experience the customer has with the Honda brand, at every touch point, to be simple and straightforward – no complexity, no jargon, just easy and enjoyable.

“Every decision by Honda Australia, in re-engineering the entire business, has been made with the pursuit of an enhanced customer experience in mind.”
