Volkswagen Australia has confirmed the Tiguan Allspace seven-seater will get a Wolfsburg Edition special for the first time, with the new large SUV due in showrooms in June.
Based on the 162TSI Highline variant, the Wolfsburg Edition commands a $6800 premium, at $59,990 plus on-road costs, but it comes with more standard equipment.
Specifically, the Wolfsburg Edition adds gloss-black 20-inch Suzuka alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, a rear ‘Wolfsburg’ badge and black exterior trim (lower grille, side-mirror caps, window surrounds, roof rails and side and rear strips).
Inside, the Wolfsburg Edition steps up with a Dynaudio sound system, a head-up display (unique) and a digital instrument cluster, while advanced driver-assist systems extend to surround-view cameras.
Pure White is the only no-cost paintwork option, with Pyrite Silver (metallic), Platinum Grey (metallic), and Deep Black (pearl effect) costing $800 extra. The only other option is the $2000 panoramic sunroof.
