I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, which has numerous issues with the audio/reversing camera unit. It was eventually replaced, but the alignment on the reverse camera is not right. They have said it can't be adjusted, and have checked it, and claim it is within spec, but it is at least 30 cm out. I have gone from being able to confidently use it to assist to virtually disregarding it.
What can I do?

18 Jan 2019Something apparently changed when they replaced the head unit. Was the replacement the same as the old one? I don’t doubt the claim that the camera itself can’t be adjusted, but something has changed and what that is needs to be established so it can be fixed. Take it back to the dealer and ask them to have another look and find a solution.
Sometimes dealers don’t go the extra mile to fix a problem, they can be more focussed on getting the car out the door.
