My early model manual Honda Jazz shuddered intermittently within 5000kms of new and several visits to the dealer, with the man from Honda in attendance, failed to fix it. I traded mine on a Golf at 15,000 km the driving smile returned. I wonder how many other shuddering Jazzes there are out there?
There are obviously quite a few, judging by the number of complaints we have received. The first thing dealers do is to replace the oil in the transmission, which is a rather expensive special oil, and if that doesn't solve the problem the transmission itself is usually then replaced.
