Ford Falcon 2011: Wind noise

Since I purchased my FG Falcon XR6 used in 2011, I have noticed wind noise coming from around the driver's side window when I exceed 50 km/h. The dealer claimed that the windscreen wasn't sealed properly and that it would need to be removed and resealed. It appeared to be coming from next to my right ear, not the front of the car, so I didn't get it done at that time. I raised it again at the next service and they made some modifications to the driver's side window. It was reduced, but still there so I raised it again. They again wanted to remove the windscreen again as they believed this was the cause of the problem. The windscreen contractor came out to do the job, but found nothing wrong when he did a pressure and leakage test, so the windscreen wasn't removed and resealed. When I went to pick the car up, I was told that it is a design fault on the Falcon in that a low-pressure area develops at the top corner area of the windscreen and that nothing could be done. I can't believe that such a design fault would have made it through the vehicle testing etc. Have you heard of this before? I still think it's the drivers side window that doesn't seal properly when the window is up. I feel that the dealer is taking a soft option and having a lend of me, and the wind noise still irritates me.

With the window up and the door closed try running some duct tape over the seal on the outside of the door and that should tell you if it's the window or the door seal not sealing.
