Ask Smithy Xtra Speedo tells me I'm speeding

When I?m going 100 km/h in my VR Commodore wagon, and go under an overhead speed check, it says I?m doing 99 km/h, but my GPS says I?m doing anything from 103-105 km/h. Is the GPS correct or is the overhead sign correct?

It’s impossible to say, but I would err towards the GPS. It’s most unusual for a speedo to read higher than the real speed, it’s usually the other way around. I would crosscheck the GPS on another car.
