BMW X7 Pricing and Specs
Available with two 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engines – either a single-turbo version with 195kW/620Nm or a quad-turbo variant that ups the ante to 294kW/760Nm – current prices range from $119,900 for the X7 xDRIVE 30d to $169,900 for the X7 M50d.
Both versions feed drive to all four wheels via an eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission, which enables a zero-to-100km/h sprint in 7.0 and 5.4 seconds for the 350d and M50d respectively.
BMW has also confirmed a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre petrol V8-powered M50i will land in local showrooms before year's end, producing 390kW/750Nm for a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 4.7s.
Standard equipment in the X7 includes 20-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, sunroof, 12.3-inch multimedia system, wireless smartphone charger and head-up display.
The M50d adds 22-inch wheels, Merino-trimmed upholstery, five-zone climate control and rear-axle steering.
